Jee-In Kimreceived a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University in 1982 and an MS degree in Computer Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 1984. He received his PhD in Computer Science and Information in May 1993 from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been serving as the president of HCI society of Korea, the president of Korean Institute of Information Scientists and Engineers (KIISE), and chairs of various international conferences. As for the international standardization activities, he is serving as the chair of EG AU (Expert Group of Accessibility and Usability) and the vice chair of WG SA (Working Group of Services and Applications) for ASTAP (Asia Pacific Tele-community Standardization Program Forum).He is a Professor with Dept. of Software and Dept. Smart ICT Convergence at Konkuk University. He is the Director of the Digital Contents Research Center at the University. His major research fields include ubiquitous computing, visualization andHCI.
